Some rules for logging on in public places

Before you log on, ask if the equipment is secured; in other words, that the five steps described in the section protecting yourself, logging on have been carried out.
If you have any doubt, do not hesitate to go somewhere else.

When you log on, check that no one is looking at your screen and that no one is looking over your shoulder at your keyboard.
Always answer «No» if you are asked if you want your connection parameters (password, etc) remembered.

When you have finished, use the «Log Off» button to log off.

Delete the data likely to be kept in the computer's memory. To do this, click on your navigator's [Tools] / [Internet Options].

Then, in the [General], tab, in the section «Temporary Internet files», click on «Delete cookies», «Delete files» and «Clear History»

Finally, do not forget to empty the computer's trashcan. To do this, from the desktop, just right-click with the mouse on the Trashcan, then select «Empty the Trashcan».
